HGH Hotelgesellschaft mbH is committed to making its website and mobile applications accessible in accordance with legal requirements.
The requirements for accessibility arise from the German Barrierefreiheitsstärkungsgesetz (Accessibility Strengthening Act – BFSG), in particular § 14 BFSG in conjunction with § 3 (1) BFSG, as well as the related regulation (BFSGV).

2. Accessibility Status
We do our utmost to make the website as accessible as possible. Below is a list of all non-accessible content. Therefore, this website is only partially accessible, as not all requirements are fully met.
3. Non-accessible Content
a) Technical Barriers
- iFrames without title: Embedded content (e.g. external videos and playlists) does not have titles for screen readers.
- iFrames for third-party content: These are not always accessible and are beyond our control.
b) Content-related Barriers
- Some areas of the website use automatically playing embedded videos, mostly in the header area. These videos start automatically, contain no audio track, and are purely decorative in nature.
- Some PDF and Office documents are not accessible (e.g. missing tags, inaccessible tables).
d) Disproportionate Burden
According to Article 5 of Directive (EU) 2016/2102, certain content may be exempted due to disproportionate burden. Despite our efforts, we are currently unable to provide the following content in fully accessible form:

General Description of the Service
The boutique hotel TORTUE in Hamburg offers a holistic hospitality experience with 128 design rooms and suites, five bars, three restaurants, meeting and event rooms, and a podcast studio. Guests enjoy a sophisticated setting in the heart of the city with a unique atmosphere and many surprising details.
Descriptions and Explanations Regarding the Provision of the Service
Room Booking and Reservations
Guests select dates, room categories, and additional services such as early check-in or minibar services and book directly via the booking system.
Gastronomy & Bars
Visitors can enjoy food and drinks at the bars (bar noir, bar bleu, bar privé, jardin TORTUE, petite TORTUE) and restaurants (brasserie TORTUE, JIN GUI, chez l’ami). Private dining and exclusive roof terrace events can be booked.
Meetings & Events
Four salons and one studio are available for meetings, corporate events or private functions. Booking enquiries can be made by phone or via a form.
Additional Services & Specials
The hotel offers specials such as use of the podcast studio, VIP box experiences, concert experiences, dinner highlights, and collaborations with partners.
