Weedenborn
TORTUE sauvignon blanc
€25,00
The majority of this single-vineyard cuvée comes from the Westhofener Steingrube of Terra Rossa soils and is partly matured in tonneaus.
Southern fruits dominate the nose, followed by a true explosion on the palate. Tasted blind, it is difficult to classify this wine, it should not be a copy of a "loud" New Zealander or a "typical" French wine, but should be able to stand on its own. Uncomplicated, without being boring. Sophisticated without being too demanding. Together with the "queen of Sauvignon Blanc" Gesine Roll, we have succeeded in doing just that.
An excellent accompaniment to food, which also cuts a fine figure at any time without accompanying food and even has storage potential.

Tip: Do not serve too warm, even a few minutes in the fridge will do this wine a world of good.

Wernersbach
Pinot Gris
TORTUE Edition
€15,00
Only the best for our guests: This Pinot Gris was bottled and tasted especially for us!
Stephan Wernersbach knows how to extract the best possible qualities from his vineyards in Dittelsheim-Hessloch, Rheinhessen. His Pinot Gris tastes beautifully strong and round. It delights with notes of peaches, limes and walnuts, is melting on the palate and thus goes well with veal escalope, but also with Caesar salad or a roast chicken.
